India vs Australia T20: Preview, Power Players and Prediction

The campaign at Down under did not start as Indian Cricket team would have liked, having lost the ODI series 2-1. Next up is the exciting T20 format, which promises a lot of fireworks and entertainment!

Coming off a long Indian Premier League, a few of the Australian stars as well as most of the Indian counterparts will be itching to go. Virat Kohli and his team will be looking to avenge their ODI Series loss with a dominating performance in the coming matches. Team India has always had a good record in T20 winning 65% of matches, but the question is can they out skill and outplay the man in baggy green?

The 3 Match series will include new faces for both teams, with the demands of the game-changing. It will be interesting to see what combination the teams go with, especially team India who has a pool of talent at their disposal.

Most of the Indian players in the squad had a good IPL 2020 so they will be hoping to carry their form coming into the series. The quality of batting depth is immense with the likes of Shikhar Dhawan, Mayank Agarwal, KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer all being proven match-winners who have the capability to score big.

The power-players for the men in blue are Ravindra Jadeja and Hardik Pandya who played a crucial role in India's 3rd ODI victory. Hardik especially can be lethal with the bat as he has proven from time to time. He will be a crucial member if India is to win the t20 series.

Batting, however, won't be easy against the mighty Aussies, who will be looking to continue their ODI momentum into the t20 series. The bowling lineup consists of some of the world's best bowlers such as Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Starc, Adam Zampa, and the most expensive purchase of IPL 2020 Auction, Pat Cummins.

India's bowling department is for the first time in a while a strong point, going into the series with the likes of Jasprit Bumrah & T. Natrajan being one of the best at death bowling. Natrajan, who was selected on the back of an excellent IPL, would like to emulate his accurate yorkers at the big stage.

The team looks good on all fronts and the Bharat Army would accept nothing less than a series victory against their arch-rivals.
