The last edition (2018) of the Asia Cup also took place in the Gulf nation, where India beat Bangladesh in a low-scoring thriller to clinch their 7th title.

ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022
Oct 2022 - Nov 2022
The 8th edition of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup will move to one of cricket's perennial homes in Australia later this year.
Just a year after they won their maiden title, champions Australia will defend their crown in front of their home fans come October 2022. The tournament will kick off with the Qualifying round where former champions West Indies and Sri Lanka, Namibia and Scotland and four yet to be determined nations will battle for the four vacant spots in the Super-12 stage.
The qualifying round will be staged in Hobart and Geelong with Sri Lanka and Namibia starting things off on October 16.
The Super-12 round will kickstart from October 22 when defending champions and hosts Australia lock horns with 2021 finalists New Zealand at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
In Group 2 Australia are joined by New Zealand, No.1 ranked England, Afghanistan plus the winner of Group A and the runner-up of Group B.
Group 2 comprises fierce rivals India and Pakistan, South Africa, Bangladesh plus the winner of Group B and runner-up of Group A.
India vs Pakistan is once again set to be the most awaited encounter. The arch-rivals will lock horns at the iconic MCG on October 23. While Pakistan would be looking to prove that their win against India in the last WC wasn't a fluke, Rohit Sharma's men would be gunning to settle scores following a humiliating defeat last year.
India's second fixture will be on October 27 against Group A runner-up at the SCG and it will be followed by their encounter against the Proteas in Perth on October 30. Their last two games will be against Bangladesh (November 02) in Adelaide and the winner of Group B in Melbourne on November 6.
The Super-12s will culminate with India's last fixture and it will be followed by two semi-finals. The SCG will host the first semi on November 09 while Adelaide will host the second on the following day.
The iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground will see the crowning of a new champion on November 13.

ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023
Feb 2023 - Mar 2023
The 13th edition of ICC World Cup will be hosted in India! The ICC Men's World Cup 2023 has been rescheduled to take place during Diwali, in the months of October and November. This will be the first time that India will host an ICC Cricket World Cup tournament as the sole nation. The Bharat Army will be there in huge numbers to support the Men in Blue and we want you to join us as we fight to bring the cup back home.
In the latest edition, England won their maiden ICC Cricket World Cup in 2019 against the Black Caps and that was also the first-ever Super Over in ODIs. The total attendance during the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup was 752,000! That was historic, and we shall recreate the history together in India.
The format of the 2023 ICC Men's World Cup will feature ten teams, and India being the host's have already qualified for the tournament. For the remaining teams, the top seven countries among the thirteen competitors in the Super League will qualify for the ICC Men’s World Cup 2023. And for the remaining two slots a total of five teams will battle it out among the Associate sides in the 2023 Cricket World Cup Qualifier.
Can India repeat the dream run of 2011? Join the Bharat Army and be the 12th Man for the Indian Cricket Team.
