The 12th edition of One-day Cricket's marquee event- ICC Cricket World Cup will begin on the 30th of May where hosts England will square off against South Africa at the Oval. The tournament will end on 14th July with the final being held at the Mecca of Cricket-Lord's. The 46-day tournament featuring top ten teams of the world will be played across 11 venues in England and Wales with the four-qualifying teams to play out their semi-finals at Birmingham and Manchester respectively.

Old Trafford will host a maximum of six matches, which includes the marquee clash between arch-rivals India and Pakistan, while Edgbaston [Birmingham], Hampshire Oval [Southampton], Lords's, The Oval- both in London and Trent Bridge [Nottingham] will host five matches each.
