History
Back in 1999 the World Cup in England bought together 4 founder members of the BHARAT ARMY, from different parts of England they would watch cricket passionately and follow the Indian Cricket team.
The world cup was only the beginning, they regularly met and discussed how the Indian cricket team would dominate the cricketing calendar. We all remembered the 83 World Cup success and wanted to give the supporters something back. From 83 to 99 we all individually followed the game of cricket and would watch greats such as Shastri, Gavaskar, and Dev.
As a result of our continuing support a friendship formed and we identified a need for a supporters group. That commitment was realised in May 2002 and we devoted time in supporting Indian cricket. Sukh, Harvey, Raks and Shai now travel regularly to cricketing venues around the world to support their beloved India.
Mission Statement
To provide a unique innovative voice, committed and passionately in support of Indian Cricket, whilst removing all political considerations to protect ethical and moral values, true to tradition and in keeping with the spirit of the game.
Striving to enable Indian teams to achieve excellence by co-ordinating, organising and promoting partisan support activities, to enhance personal performances and ensure world-wide dominance, recognition and success.
To promote the hallowed game of cricket at grass roots level and achieve a strategic vision, supporting young Indian talent and providing opportunity to ultimately ensure continued strength in Indian Cricket forever more.
