The Big Picture

A dominant display from Team India helped them take an unassailable 3-0 lead in the 5-match series against the Black Caps.

Like the 1st ODI, the win was set up by India's bowlers, who restricted the hosts to an underwhelming 243 in the first innings. Mohammad Shami spearheaded the bowling unit with a three-wicket haul while Hardik Pandya made his return to International cricket with figures of 2-45.

The chase was spearheaded by a sublime 113-run stand between Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli while Dinesh Karthik [38] and Ambati Rayudu [40] provided the finishing touch with an unbeaten 77-run stand for the fourth wicket.
