Pujara scores his maiden T20 ton
Known for his red-ball exploits, Cheteshwar Pujara scored his first Twenty20 hundred, twelve years after he made his debut in the shortest format of the game.
Pujara batted through the 20 overs to score a 61-ball 100 against Railways on the opening day of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
The Indian No.3 also became the first Saurashtra batsman to score a T20 hundred, surpassing his previous best- a 55-ball 81- against Jammu & Kashmir in 2016.
His hundred, however, was not enough to see Saurashtra past the finishing line as Railways successfully chased down the target of 189 in 19.4 overs.
Iyer's whirlwind knock sets up a record-win for Mumbai
A whole host of records were shattered in Mumbai's opening game against Sikkim.
Delhi Capitals skipper, Shreyas Iyer was ay the heart of his teams' annihilation of Sikkim as the right-hander smashed the record for the highest individual T20 score by an India during his whirlwind knock of 147.

Iyer's innings consisted of 15 sixes that saw him take the record among Indian batsman for most sixes in a T20 inning. His innings propelled Mumbai to third highest T20 score in India, and the seventh overall in T20 cricket, helping them notch up a 154-run victory.
